During my time at PTW America, I worked as a QA tester doing
ad hoc testing on two titles.
Remag: Social Media for Gamers
Remag is a mobile app that acts as a Twitter/Instagram alternative
that centers around gaming communities and provides multitudes of ways to get connected with other fans of the titles you love.
Is It You?
Is It You? is a social deduction game similar to the likes of the classic card
game Mafia, Town of Salem, and Among Us.
Our Approach
The process for testing these products was
an ad-hoc method where for the first segment we simply played the game and recorded any errors. Over time of building out our bug lists we would then preform redundancy tests and log all our findings into Jira. Once a new build released we would run through the old tests and report any bugs that slipped through and repeat the process over again.
